The audio recording is a live/MIDI demo in which the improvised saxophone parts are played by guitar.

approx. 8:15.  A one-movement concerto, this piece requires a separate soloist throughout.  It was composed for saxophonist Tom Strohman at Lebanon Valley College.  The solo part is intended for soprano, though it can be played on tenor if soprano is not available.  Stylistically, this has sections of chamber-style music in which each part has a very individual responsibility; other sections are contemporary jazz with a straight-eighth half-time backbeat.  There are many meter changes that make this a challenge for the conductor.

Instrumentation: [5, 4, 4, 4, plus soloist] soprano, alto, 2 tenor, baritone saxophones; trumpets 3 & 4 double flugelhorn.

The full score is available free of charge here.  Purchase will include the complete set of parts.
